MEMS Based North Seeker

NF1070 MEMS North Finder (hereinafter referred to as NF1070) is a universal, miniaturized, industrial-grade inertial measurement unit. It enhances measurement accuracy by compensating for the zero bias and scale factor of each axis based on temperature. This north finder comprises a high-precision MEMS north-finding gyroscope (with the Z-axis gyro being of high precision), a MEMS accelerometer, a high-precision motor servo system, and peripheral circuits. Under static conditions, it outputs the attitude angle in the direction indicated by the product casing.

NF1400 north finder is mainly used to determine true north orientation and horizontal attitude, and has the function of short-term dynamic orientation and attitude maintenance. It is mainly composed of high-precision MEMS gyroscope and accelerometer, micro servo motor, solution processing unit, etc. The true north is determined by multiple positioning method. It has the characteristics of high precision, small size and low cost, and is suitable for mining, field survey and other applications. The main characteristics are as follows:  Small size, easy to carry;  The multi position north finding algorithm is adopted, and the north finding accuracy is up to 0.2 °, without binding coordinate values;  The north seeking time is better than 3 minutes;  The horizontal attitude accuracy is up to 0.06 °;  The working temperature is -40 ℃~60 ℃;  The size is only 58mm × 44mm × 58mm

The NF1100 MEMS Inertial North Finder adopts a strapdown north-finding solution consisting of a built-in MEMS gyroscope and MEMS accelerometer. The product can continuously track and measure changes in the inclination angle, tool face, and azimuth angle. The NF1100 Inertial North Finder integrates high-performance MEMS gyroscopes and MEMS accelerometers within an independent structure, making it suitable for high-precision attitude measurement under conditions of small pipe diameters.

The NF1200 MEMS North Finder is a highly reliable and cost-effective six-axis MEMS inertial sensor, widely applicable in navigation, control, and measurement fields represented by inertial navigation and attitude stabilization. The NF1200 series north finders integrate high-performance MEMS gyroscopes and MEMS accelerometers within an independent structure. The gyroscopes and accelerometers selected for the system represent the leading level of MEMS technology inertial devices. All electronic components within the system are 100% domestically produced. The three-axis MEMS gyroscopes sense the angular motion of the carrier, while the three-axis MEMS accelerometers sense the linear acceleration of the carrier. The system internally compensates for zero position, scale factor, non-orthogonal error, and acceleration-related terms across all temperature parameters, maintaining high measurement accuracy over extended periods.

The NF1000 MEMS inertial north finder is a strapdown north finding solution composed of high-performance MEMS gyroscope and MEMS accelerometer, which can directly measure wellbore inclination angle and tool face angle. The three-axis MEMS gyroscope is sensitive to the angular motion of the carrier, and the three-axis MEMS accelerometer is sensitive to the linear acceleration of the carrier. The module internally compensates for the zero position, scale factor, non-orthogonal error, and acceleration related terms of all temperature parameters, which can maintain high measurement accuracy for a long time.
